Travel to Hainan is written for real travelers. Here is exactly how we produce, check and update every page — so you know why you can trust what you read.

A fact database comes first

Every article starts from a structured fact database of places, prices, rules, opening hours and practical details. Nothing is invented on the page; the facts come first and the writing follows.

Original writing, never copied

We write in the first person, from our own research and visits. We do not copy text from other websites, guidebooks or AI output. If we cannot verify something firsthand, we say so.

Estimates are marked as estimates

Prices, distances, travel times and seasonal details change. Where a number is approximate, we label it clearly as an estimate, and we prefer to give ranges rather than pretend to be exact.

A review gate before anything ships

Every page is checked by at least one second editor before it goes live. We check the facts against the database, the language with a native reader, and the links against the actual pages.

Dates you can trust

Each guide shows when it was last updated. We revisit pages on a schedule and after any rule change, so a date is a promise we intend to keep — not decoration.
