Day by day

• Day 1 — Qizi Bay & Changjiang
  Drive the west highway to Qizi Bay's chessboard rock formations; overnight in Changjiang.
• Day 2 — Dongfang
  Fishing harbors, salt fields and the westernmost lighthouse of Hainan.
• Day 3 — Danzhou & return
  Danzhou old town, Dongpo Academy, then back to Haikou or on to the east coast.
